Party of Three

Danco Island has one of the best viewpoints on the peninsula, but for the Gentoo penguins, it is just a regular daily climb. I caught these three heading down the snowy ridge with the Errera Channel stretching out behind them. It's always so impressive to watch them navigate these steep slopes with so much purpose. This shot captures the scale of the landscape and the small, determined figures that call this island home.
