Polar Pride Rock

There's an unmistakable Lion King energy to this crabeater seal perched on the edge of the ice. It is the polar version of Pride Rock, but with ice and freezing water instead of the savanna. Catching this one lounging against the blue shadows was a real highlight of the afternoon zodiac cruise. It is one of those special moments where the animal seems to be surveying its entire frozen kingdom.
