Rush Hour

Brown Bluff is a massive rust coloured volcanic cliff that towers over the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula. It is home to thousands of Adélie penguins, and they are easily some of the most entertaining characters on the ice. I caught these two in the middle of a snowy scramble right at the base of the cliffs. There is a frantic energy to the Adélies that you don't always see with the other species, and watching them navigate the loose snow with such speed is always a highlight of being on shore here.
