Longyearbyen

At the end of my expedition in Svalbard, following several flight cancellations, I found myself stuck in the port of Longyearbyen—the world's northernmost settlement. Luckily, I didn’t need to be anywhere urgently, so the three-day delay, which prolonged my stay on the expedition ship, was extremely pleasant – including the daily morning view of the mountains from the top deck.
