Day Trip to Lake Tuzqol

What a day to remember! It started off with a giant Kazakh home-cooked breakfast (featuring kumis – horse milk) followed by a wet drive in this old Soviet bomb with our driver, Nurgol. We stopped by a bee farm for honey, I successfully completed my visa run (to stay in Kazakhstan for another month), and we even made it to the very salty Lake Tuzqol. To cap off an unreal trip, we feasted on beshbarmak in a yurt for dinner.
