A Futuristic City

There’s not a whole lot of love for the city of Astana by its people (mainly from the younger generation). All I’d heard was that it's a boring city. But let me tell you that the architecture is on point, it’s undeniably lush and green, and there’s a stack of beautiful parks and walkways, which is definitely worth exploring. My mate, Andrei and I spent the day soaking up the hot summer rays, and the golden hour light left us wondering if we should spend more time in the old capital (and ultimately, I got swept up in Astana fever for another week - that's the beauty of having an open schedule).
