Life in Almaty

I spent a good chunk of 3 months living in Almaty, Kazakhstan with a couple, Nuli and Piotr, whom I met whilst travelling through Uzbekistan. They welcomed me into their home, introduced me to all their friends and brought me along to some of their favourite places, including our regular trips to nearby Medeo & Shymbulak – only a 20-minute bus ride from town.
